Jolene and Andy

We photographed Jolene & Andy's wedding this weekend...I was very anxious to get a few quick shots up as a sneak peek for them, so here they are! The day started out with a tiny bit of rain - for the first time in probably nearly a month, here in Victoria...but luckily it cleared up and the sun peeked through once the festivities began!

It was fun to follow the couple all day long...the boys even let us gals intrude on their "man time" at the Barber Shop.

Kira Nelson (http://www.kiranelson.com/) was hired to photograph Steve and Vicky's wedding last weekend and I came along as a second shooter. The festivities were held in the couple's yard - which was looking great thanks to all their hard work...not to mention the countless hours and effort donated by their friends and family in the weeks leading up to the big day. It was a sunset wedding and we were so lucky to have such spectacular light - I must say that I do love to shoot at that time of the day! It was great to get out of the city for an afternoon and shoot in a location which was meaningful to the couple!

Kira Nelson took these photos of Adam & I. Kira is a friend from photography school. It was strange & fun to be in front of the lens...for once. I love how these turned out!

Jolene and Andy

Jolene and Andy's wedding is comming up quick and Georgie and I will be doing the photography together. I had a chance to take some engagement photos with them down at Macaulay Point this weekend. It was a great sunny evening and we got some great shots - what a photogenic couple! I really enjoy engagement sessions, it's a such a great way to get acquainted with each other. I am excited to shoot their wedding in a couple of weeks!

Donna and Adam

I am shooting Donna and Adam's wedding in late September, along side the wonderful Georgie Wilson. Earlier this week we all met up at Beacon Hill Park for an engagement session. The light was perfect and this couple was so fun and comfortable in front of the camera! Donna's family owns Lyle's Place record shop on Yates Street, so she suggested that we head to downtown to get a shot in front of the store, while downtown we took advantage of a few great urban backdrops.

I'm really looking forward to shooting this wedding, these two are so sweet and fun to photograph! Thanks for the awesome photoshoot guys!
